ISALTIS is developing and manufacturing minerals for proper functioning of the general metabolism. They are organic minerals : it means that the mineral part is vectorised by an organic moety of vegetal origin, in order to enhance its solubility and bioavailability.

Mineral salts are essential for human metabolism. They are less and less present in food because of industrial methods of food production, and the depletion of soils in minerals. Whether they are macrominerals like calcium or magnesium, present in significant quantities in the human body, or as trace elements (zinc, copper, manganese …) they each have a preponderant role in metabolism. Our organic mineral salts are used to treat deficiencies linked to our lifestyles. Our organic minerals have a high bioavailability, linked to their biomimetic nature. Our know-how consists in decorating the mineral with an organic vector of plant origin in order to increase its solubility and its bioavailability. GIVOCAL (calcium glycerophosphate) is a highly bioavailable calcium chelate with no side effects on the metabolism, and is part of the 3rd generation mineral salts, called “premium”. It is in particular the salt of choice for the most sensitive applications (example: milk for premature babies or babies suffering from serious diseases). The fact that it contains phosphorus and calcium in proportions similar to hydroxyapatite makes it the best choice of calcium salt for remineralizing bones and teeth. In this sense, we have developed HYDRA 4G, a mixture based on the 4 key minerals of sports practice, which contributes to hydration and the proper functioning of muscles during sports practice. GIVOBIO LA range (lactates)
ISALTIS produces zinc lactate (Givobio La / Zn) and magnesium lactate (Givobio La / Mg), which are the most recommended forms in sports nutrition. Indeed, lactate increases the bioavailability of the mineral, but is also converted by metabolism in the form of energy for the muscles, the heart and the brain.

Fine chemicals for industrial applications
ISALTIS group is developping and manufacturing fine chemicals based on minerals for industrial applications : barium, strontium, zinc salts…such as pyrotechnics, the automotive industry or catalysis via nuclear fuels, paint and glass.
These mineral salts of very high purity require strict control over particle sizes and impurities (especially heavy metals) in order to function properly in their final applications. For the same mineral salt, we offer several ranges of particle size distribution and impurity specifications, two important parameters which are analyzed on site in our laboratories.
