Undecylenic acid is a powerful fungicide with an excellent tolerance, selectively active against epidermomycosis whose causal agents are : microsporum, trychophyton, epidermophyton. It is used alone or in association with its zinc and calcium salts as a powder, pomade or a solution form for human and veterinary medicine.
Undecylenic acid is also used for the manufacture of cosmetic products and as fixing agent for perfume.
