Magnesium L-aspartate can be used alone, in association with the potassium salt or with L-aspartic acid, in the following indications :
- General condition: Asthenia, convalescence, fatigue
- Disorders of the liver: Hepatic insufficiency, hyperammonaemia, hepatitis and cyrrhosis
- Cardiology: Cardiac deficiency, angina and anginal states, myocardial infarction, minor coronary syndromes in association with cardiac glycosides the toxicity of which it reduces
These actions are the result of the combined properties of the aspartate ion and the Mg2+ ion.
