Liquid sodium glycerophosphate, is an aqueous solution of sodium salts of alpha and beta glycerophosphoric acids proposed at two different concentrations :
- the first contains 50 % (weight) of product expressed as C3H7Na2O6P, 5.5 H2O, that is to say 34.3 % as C3H7Na2O6P
- the second contains 65 % (weight) of product expressed as C3H7Na2O6P, 5.5 H2O, that is to say 44.6 % as C3H7Na2O6P
Sodium glycerophosphate is an organic compound, source of sodium and phosphorus, easily assimilated by the tissues, particularly by the brain. It is used especially for treatment of nervous disorders.
